Hence, future research should focus on the interacting factorial impacts\nand resulting antagonistic and synergistic responses of forest trees and ecosystems. The synergistic\neffects of air pollution and climatic changes, in particular elevated ozone, altered nitrogen, carbon and\nwater availability, must be key issues for research. Present evidence suggests air pollution will become\nincreasingly harmful to forests under climate change, which requires integration amongst various\nstressors (abiotic and biotic factors, including competition, parasites and fire), effects on forest services\n(production, biodiversity protection, soil protection, sustained water balance, socio-economical relevance)\nand assessment approaches (research, monitoring, modeling) to be fostered." ; prodottidellaricerca:prodottoDi istituto:CDS064 , modulo:ID2226 ; pubblicazioni:autoreCNR unitaDiPersonaleInterno:MATRICOLA1692 . @prefix parolechiave: . prodotto:ID41334 parolechiave:insiemeDiParoleChiave . ns11:ID483470 pubblicazioni:rivistaDi prodotto:ID41334 . parolechiave:insiemeDiParoleChiaveDi prodotto:ID41334 .
