This paper provides a unified performance analysis\nof various TR schemes by developing an analytical framework\nbased on the sampling expansion approach. Specifically, we\nderive the uncoded bit error probability (BEP) of different\nTR signaling schemes, including TR and differential TR (DTR)\nsignaling valid for a broad class of fading channels. We consider\nboth AcRs and modified AcRs with noise averaging. We further\ndevelop a quasi-analytical method as well as an approximate\nanalytical method to extend the BEP analysis to include the\neffect of narrowband interference (NBI). We show that the\napproximate analytical method is particularly useful in obtaining\nBEP expressions that provide insight into the effect of NBI.\nWe quantify the effects of NBI and channel power dispersion\nprofile on the optimum integration interval of an AcR. Finally,\nwe compare TR and DTR signaling in terms of their sensitivity\nto NBI."@en ; prodottidellaricerca:prodottoDi istituto:CDS029 , modulo:ID2246 ; pubblicazioni:autoreCNR unitaDiPersonaleEsterno:ID1935 . @prefix parolechiave: . prodotto:ID20592 parolechiave:insiemeDiParoleChiave . ns11:ID65633 pubblicazioni:rivistaDi prodotto:ID20592 . parolechiave:insiemeDiParoleChiaveDi prodotto:ID20592 .
